Making a Purchase
How does buying on It's
Minnesotan work?
To buy items,
you'll need to create an It's Minnesotan account
(it's free and easy). Click hear to create an account. You purchase items on It's
Minnesotan directly from the seller, using a paypal
gateway when checking out. Keep in mind that every seller must be paid
individually. Each seller will have their own return policy (if they have
one at all), shipping options and payment options. If you have any
questions about any of these, it's best to contact the seller directly
before making the purchase.
How does the shopping cart work?
As you shop
around and find items that suit your fancy, add them to your cart. Note:
items in your cart are not removed from the site or reserved for you, until
you complete the checkout process. The majority of items on It's Minnesotan are one-of-a-kind and thus tend to sell
out quickly, so it's a bit risky to leave items in your cart for too long.
Once you've got everything you want, click the Checkout button and follow
the onscreen instructions.
What is PayPal, how does it
work on It's Minnesotan, and how do I buy items
with it?
It's Minnesotan facilitates payments through a
third-party service called PayPal. Sellers must register an account with PayPal, which lets buyers pay securely using their
credit card. The buyer does not have to be a member of this service in
order to submit a payment by credit card.

I don't have a PayPal
account. Can I just pay with a credit card?
Yes! Buyers can submit payment by crediit card
through PayPal without having a PayPal account.
Reporting a Problem
As a buyer, how I do I report any problems with an item?
If an item you pay for is not shipped by the seller, is significantly not
as described, or arrives damaged please contact the seller directly to work
toward a resolution. If your communication with the seller proves
unsuccessful, you should email support@itsminnesotan.com
with your username and the item name. We will work to resolve the
situation. You may also leave appropriate feedback for the seller who
failed to ship the item or describe it properly.
